Jenee needed a WordPress tutoring website to showcase her private tutoring services. This was a fun project that evolved as we worked. In the end, Jenee decided that she not only wanted to highlight her tutoring services, but also use her website as a resource for parents and other educators interested in learning more about Orton-Gillingham and Structured Literacy.
It was a joy to have Christi design my website. I started with nothing and within a short time, she designed exactly what I wanted. Christi has a remarkable talent and she makes the process so easy. Her communication skills are superb! I highly recommend her services and I look forward to working with her in the future.
With complete branding + website packages, we start with the header to determine the colors and vibe of the project. I start with a variety of options based on each client’s question sheet. Jenee had sent a color palette and a script font (shown in option #6) that she was considering for her WordPress tutoring website, so I started there. I send a variety of options at this point because it’s always easier to see what you like/don’t like in order to move forward at this point.
After seeing the initial options, Jenee like option #5 but wanted to remove the frame. She also decided she wanted to add a character to represent her brand, so we added this cute little hedgehog.
For the second round, Jenee wanted to see the frame added back to 3 options.
She chose option E, so I made her round logo version to match.
WordPress Tutoring Website Build
Then it was time to build the custom WordPress tutoring website. Jenee had her own photos to use, which is always a plus! After seeing option E on the website, she opted to remove the frame around the header again. This process is always custom to YOU and revisions are included.
