Erin had attempted to DIY her own tutoring website, but decided she was ready to hire professional help instead. She received polished, cohesive branding and an informative new WordPress tutoring website design to showcase her services and employment opportunities. This entire project was completed in five business days, so she was up and running quickly!

If you are starting or scaling an exciting business venture, but are unsure of where to invest money, turn to Christi. Her expertise and attention to detail are evident with every beautifully designed website she has created for small business owners, but what sets Christi apart is the way she executes your vision because she takes the time to deeply understand it. Undoubtedly, the BEST investment that I have made for my reading tutoring and digital resource business has been hiring Christi.

Before
First, here’s a look at Erin’s website and TPT store branding before we started.

Branding
Erin sent colors and fonts that she loved, so I was able to jump right in to designing her website header options. She wanted something very simple and easy-to-read, but was also open to a playful touch. She liked 2 and 4 the best, but went with option 2 without revisions.

Then it was time to make the coordinating round icon for social media. Erin was interested in a rope design as a nod to Scarborough’s reading rope. She liked the abstract rope design in option 2, which completed her branding.

The final brand board is an elevated look and will be easy to carry over into her other items in the future.

Website Build
Once the brading was finished, it was time to start the WordPress tutoring website design. Erin wanted to display a short video in the background of her welcome section, and I love that touch! The new homepage is welcoming and informational.

The services page has 3 distinct offers that make selecting an option simple for families. Clear pricing and call to action buttons drive conversions.

An employment page provides information for interested tutors to learn more about joining the team.

An about page helps tell Erin’s story and connect with parents.

While Erin wasn’t ready to add a shop to her own website just yet, a simple shopping index leads customers to TPT for checkout.

Finally the blog, FAQ, and contact pages round out helpful information for readers.
