Stacey is a teacherpreneur who needed a new WordPress teacher website and store to highlight her TPT products. Having your own website is a great way to add SEO for increased Google traffic, get more eyes on your products, and eliminate the middle man to retain more profit. You can add helpful blog articles, share free resources in email-capture lead magnets, and even offer coupon codes for a variety of marketing strategies.
Services Used:
I hired Christi to develop, design, configure and install my WordPress and WooCommerce website and cannot say enough about how seamless and positive the experience was. Christi is professional, hard-working, and dedicated to what she does. Above all, she is extremely knowledgeable with website design and it shows. Throughout the entire process, I felt 100% confident that my website was in the best hands. Christi was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns and made understanding the process a little bit easier for someone who knew nothing about website creation. In addition, Christi has extremely valuable knowledge and insight to offer and came up with many creative ideas and strategies to implement. Looking back, I have zero regrets about hiring Christi to design my website and know that all of her efforts will be invaluable to my business. Thank you so much for all of your amazing work Christi – I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for professional and effective web-based services.

brand Design Process
Stacey already had some branding in place for her TPT store, but wanted to elevate her graphics with the new WordPress teacher website and store installation. Here’s where she started.

Stacey sent several color palettes and fonts with her vision sheet, so I always include those in the first header drafts. I also like to include some of my own suggestions, shown here in options 6, 7, and 8. It’s always easier to narrow down what you do (and don’t!) like at this stage.
Stacey preferred header 7 and finalized it without revisions needed.

I also helped Stacey select several stock photos for the new website that were in line with her more sophisticated new branding. Her new brand board includes color codes and font names so she can carry the new look over to her products.

WordPress Teacher Website Design Process
Once branding is in place, it’s time to build the website. Stacey’s new WordPress teacher website features clear messaging to attract her target audience, Ontario math teachers.

The PLUS package also includes about, blog, and contact pages to create a cohesive starter website.

Stacey also decided to add a shop where teachers can purchase in CAD (or select their own local currency).
