Janique is a teacher and literacy coach with a private tutoring business. Janique had a previous website design on another platform. She wanted her new branding to feel familiar but updated, and the website design to be more streamlined for visitors.

Tutoring and Consulting Business Brand Design
Janique sent a few favorite fonts and screenshots of colors she wanted to try. In the first draft of her headers, I combine her inspiration with my own for a variety of options. This helps narrow down the direction of the project for the next draft.
In the first revisions, Janique had narrowed her favorite options to option 3, but she wanted to try adding an icon back into the design. I created this book image in her brand colors from clipart we selected together.
She chose option 3C, so I created coordinating round options for it.
Her final brand board can be used to create additional marketing material in the future.
Tutoring and Consulting Business Website Design
Janique wanted her website design to be streamlined and easy to navigate. The goal is for families and schools to quickly find the right service options. Her homepage provides a welcome photo to immediately build connection and strong website copy to pull readers down the page.
The About page builds Janique’s authority by highlighting her experience and credentials.
The Service page visually separates services for families and schools.
The Contact page has an inquiry form with checkboxes to help provide screening information for Janique’s needs.

Janique also added a business card design to her package. I provided a few options for the back of the card.
Her final business card design combined elements from each draft.
She also added a Facebook branding set, which includes a cover photo and profile photo with her branding. One option uses a stock photo to help tie in with the website design and the other is more minimal.
