Before
Here’s a look at Jessica’s previous branding from her store, along with an inspiration picture she sent to start the process. She also sent a few different font styles she loved.
Brand Design
To start the process, I propose a variety of header designs. This helps clients decide what they do / don’t like in order for me to revise based on feedback.
Jessica liked option 4, so I revised it based on her feedback to provide alternate versions. 4B was the winner.
After locking in the header design, the rest of the homepage graphics and coordinating branding are made to match. We go through a similar process of proposals and revisions, as needed.
The result is a cohesive new homepage!
Newsletter Start Up
Jessica also purchased my newsletter service. In addition to homepage opt-ins, we also created a drop-down menu with grade specific freebies. When users subscribe to any of the four opt-ins, they receive personalized welcome emails with grade-specific freebies. Those users are then tagged by grade level for future email marketing.
