Jenna is a teacher blogger who was using Blogger/Blogspot for her teacher blog. We moved all of her posts to WordPress and created a new teacher WordPress website with a landing page format for her business. We also set up a new email marketing plan and opt-ins to deliver lead magnets.
Services Used:
Christi came highly recommended by several of my peers and I after working with her, I can absolutely see why! Her work is gorgeous, her professionalism is unmatched, and her patience and guidance with WordPress newbies like me is awesome. I love the work she did for me and I feel confident that she set me up for success. Without hesitation, I’d work with her again or recommend her to anyone looking for help with building a site.

After
Jenna’s website is fun, colorful, and fully responsive so it looks great across all devices.
Before
To full appreciate the “After”, here’s a look at her previous design. This was a Blogger blog that I migrated and upgraded to a WordPress website (with a blog).
The Process
A lot of thought goes into each branding and website design. I collect design inspiration, wish lists, etc. from each client before we begin. Then this is the work that typically happens behind the scenes. First, I play with fonts to capture the feel of the new brand.

Then I take those fonts and begin pairing them into possible headers.

Headers take shape.

Once the fonts have taken shape, I layer in clip art.

Then I add client colors.

Initial Proposal
At this stage, the client receives an initial preview of the new headers. Based on feedback, we revise the client’s favorite design.

For the final header, we went with option #5, but added a couple extra pieces of clip art. Then I make any needed coordinating branding items. Jenna received two round alternate logos, which can be used for profile pictures, product watermarks, etc.
