SERVICES USED:
It was an absolute pleasure to have Design by Christi give my website a new and improved look. Christi transformed an amateur and unattractive site into a professional and beautiful blog. She took what seemed like an overwhelming process and broke it down into simple and easy to understand steps. She helped me create a clear vision for the new site–expanded on my ideas, offered much-needed guidance, and provided countless helpful suggestions. Christi not only met all my design needs, but her communication skills were flawless. She consistently responded quickly and professionally, while also remaining friendly and personable. I simply can’t say enough good things about my experience with Design by Christi! I highly recommend her services and look forward to working with her again in the future.

Behind the Scenes Design Process
Stacy invited me to look at her color board on Pinterest. I then proposed 6 initial color palettes based on her inspiration pictures and the notes she sent about the feel she wanted for her site. I then refined the color palettes (a total of 17 sets were proposed, many with minor adjustments) until we found the perfect feel to start the process.

After finalizing colors, I propose 3-5 initial primary logos. Typically 1-2 designs are moved forward to the revision round.

The final logo was selected from my initial proposal #2. Sometimes it takes seeing other options and color placements to realize one of the early choices really was your favorite. It’s kind of like finding the perfect wedding dress right out of the gate, but then trying on others just to be sure.

After finalizing, the alternate logo is created to compliment the primary design. Again, I typically propose 3-5 options at this stage.

The final branding:
