Sarah recently had two new websites created, but they didn’t quite hit the mark for her website wishlists. We jumped on a consultation call, came up with a plan, and redesigned each site with new branding and layouts. For the first website, Sarah offers secondary math and science resources for classroom teachers.
Christi is everything I needed in a website designer and everything I didn’t know I needed as well. She helped me save two very poorly designed websites that another designer botched together. I was so unhappy and wanted a fresh start. Christi delivered that. She has an amazing organized and customizable system during the mapping out of the website that I LOVED. She also designed brand new logos for both websites. She’s been extremely prompt in answering my questions and I can’t wait to continue her services for even more support as I learn and grow with my websites.
Sarah wanted to keep the same bright blue color she has used before. She also likes ombre, bold fonts, and wanted icons to represent her subject matter. These were her initial headers.
Sarah liked options three and provided specific feedback about what she’d like to see in her first round of revisions.
Once the header was final, it was time to create a coordinating round mark. These are ideal to use for watermarks or social media photos.
Sarah also opted to add a photograph for each of her new websites, so I provided a few options for those too.
The end result is a totally new brand board.
Once branding was complete, it was time to build the website. Her new homepage has thoughtfully-designed sections to highlight her freebies and products. It also mentions her second website for virtual assistance.
The ABOUT page is used to help visitors better understand the types of products and services she offers.
The CONTACT page reminds visitors of her services and has a contact form.
Then we created category landing pages for math and mockups. These pages will serve as a “hub” with freebies, blog posts, and products.
Finally, we added a store with easy-to-browse categories.
Each store category has a free opt-in that displays above the products.
The single product pages provide additional information and an option to buy on TPT.
