Sarah’s original WordPress design was form 2015. A lot has changed with WordPress since then, but the theme developer was no longer offering updates. It was time for a new, updated theme with mobile responsiveness and a cleaner look that’s more in line with today’s trends. I installed and customized her new WordPress theme along with updated branding. The previous website and logo design was created in 2015.
Updates
Sarah was pretty sure she wanted to keep her current colors and favorite fonts. She also sourced science clipart. I provided a few options to get us started and she selected #4 right away. I also created the coordinating round alt logo, which is great for social media use.
After that, it was time to install the new theme. Because Sarah’s site was live for visitors, we worked on a staging site to perfect the new layout. Once the new website is 100% perfect, it’s moved over to your actual website.
