Christi makes setting up a website super easy. From start to finish, she walks you through each step and is readily available to answer any questions you have. I really appreciate her patience and guidance, as I had a lot of questions! I’m really excited to watch my website grow, and I thank Christi for getting me started on the right foot. If you are looking for someone to design your website or update your branding, I highly recommend Christi Fultz. You won’t regret it.

Before
This was the mark Emily was using for her TPT store. She wanted to keep her existing brand colors and sent suggested fonts she liked too.

Branding Process
I like to provide a variety of options in the first draft to help narrow down what clients do/don’t like. I used her suggested colors and fonts, along with a few coordinating font options of my own.

Emily like option 4, but wanted to see a few variations first.

She locked in option 4B. Then I sent coordinating round options.

Emily decided she wanted to keep the same celebrating learner from her original brand mark, so I used that for the first round of revisions.

Then we explored a few options for making the light bulb stand out.

Her final brand board reflects a familiar, but updated, look for her brand.

Website Design
Once the branding was finalized, it was time to build the website. The homepage makes it clear who the site is for (secondary math teachers) and has several places for Emily to showcase her products and future posts.

Emily’s About page expands on her background and helps build both authority and trust.

Emily also offers tutoring, so we added a Service page where potential clients can learn more

I also built a simple blog and contact page to round out her site.
WordPress Store
Emily opted to have me build an expanded WordPress store with features similar to TPT. Visitors see popular categories and products when they enter the store.

A sidebar cart makes it easy to see items before checkout.

Wish lists help buyers keep track of items they’re interested in for the future.

Both single products and easy bundles help shoppers grab exactly what they need.

Maintenance Plan
Just like routine maintenance on your car or home, WordPress runs best with regular updates and care. In addition to daily security monitoring, your website will also need weekly, monthly, and annual care. You can choose to perform your own maintenance or purchase my care plan.
With the purchase of a care plan, you also receive priority email support. You know those “How do I… ?” WordPress or email marketing questions you keep Googling? Email me instead and receive a reply within 24 business hours (and typically much faster).
Many new website owners use a care plan their first year while they’re learning the ropes and then graduate on their own after their first year. You can learn more about WordPress hosting, maintenance, and care here.
