Charity was ready to migrate her established teacher website to a self-hosted custom teacher WordPress website instead. She hired me to create new branding, help her select a new theme, install the new theme, and create the new homepage. Then she built the remaining pages herself. While my most popular packages are in my shop, I’m always happy to create a custom listing that includes just what you need.

Christi was wonderful as always! The utmost professional, yet down-to-earth. When my site didn’t want to migrate correctly, she worked relentlessly to figure out the tech, fix it, and move on like it was no big deal. I love the new design work she did as well. To find someone who knows both the inner AND outer workings of a website is rare. Christi does both flawlessly.

Brand Design
Charity had a very simple icon that she liked, but was also open to modifying.

I suggested going with a slightly more stylized apple and sent a few choices.

She liked option “C” so I created a few full headers with that.

Charity again liked option “C”, so I created a few new icon options to match.

Here’s a look at the final branding. While the logo is classic black and white, the website colors were chosen to coordinate with this stock photo that she loved.

As part of the discovery process, we discuss your likes/dislikes about your current site. Then I send a few themes (unless you’ve chosen a completely custom package) that meet your needs. This is Charity’s site before.

Here’s the new homepage, which is designed to feature all of the Organized Classroom staples.
