Nina creates resources for Boom Learning and TPT. She also blogs at Ready Set Think. While she had an existing website design, it didn’t reflect her brand personality or goals. I gave her a complete brand overhaul and created a Boom Learning and TPT website design to showcase her resources.

One of my getting ready for spring projects this year was to upgrade my website. Since I do not know how to do that nor what to do, it was time to hire an expert. After doing some research online, I decided to hire Christi Fultz. She’s been a delight to work with. I was new to the process of upgrading my website. The first round with my website was what I could figure out on my own. I had a blog and an About Me section. I had some stock photos. What I didn’t have was the know-how to create a website that would look better and be more eye-catching. I didn’t know how to make it look more appealing so people would want to stay there and not immediately go to something else more interesting. Christi has been so kind to answer all of my questions and guide me through the steps needed. If you want to upgrade your website, I would definitely recommend reaching out to Christi.
Website Before
Nina was using a basic WordPress theme and stock photos on her previous website.
Teacher-Author Brand Design
Nina wanted her new brand to be professional, but also fun and kid-friendly. I created her first header drafts with those goals in mind.
Based on her feedback, I sent a second round of drafts. She selected option 3A.
Once the header is finder, I create coordinating round versions She selected option 2.
Her new brand board reflects a friendly and fun brand that appeals to primary teachers.
Boom Learning and TPT Website Design
Then I used her new branding as the foundation for her website design. The homepage uses color blocking and cute school supplies to bring personality to the design. It features her bio, resources, blog posts, and a newsletter opt-in.
The about page builds connection and authority.
The new archive page displays recent posts and a sidebar.
A resource page links to Boom Learning and TPT resources. In the future, this page can be linked to an onsite e-commerce store.
Finally, a contact page makes it easy to get in touch.
